David has been a partner at Kottke & Brantz, LLC since 2011. His practice focuses on estate planning, probate and estate/trust administration. As a Boulder native, David has a lifetime of experience living and working along the Front Range. David has recently served as an adjunct professor for the University of Colorado School of Law (Wills and Trusts), and serves on the Board of Directors for several local non-profits.
When he is not in the office, David spends most of his time with his wife, Carly, and their two daughters, Samantha and Carina. He also enjoys rooting for his local sports teams and hiking, camping and skiing in the Colorado high country.
David currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Thorne Nature Experience (2019–present) and the Legal Committee of The Community Foundation Boulder County (2007–present). David also previously served on the Board of Trustees of The Community Foundation Boulder County (2010–2018), as Board Chair for The Community Foundation Boulder County (2016–2017), and on the Guiding Coalition of the Boulder County Circles Campaign (2012–2016).
